ConceptHere’s the lowdown on our hoedown. Of course it’s a work in progress, so check back for fun photos, budgets, and other equally sexy wackiness. Meantime, here’s what we’re thinking so far: People and PlacementWe’re planning on a maximum of 100 peeps in camp; we presently have, er 100. Holy shit! We're full =) But you can still visit us at 2:00 and Amnesia.Structures and Living QuartersWe’re bringing a 30'x30' tent with removable sides for daytime shade and as a camp living room. A 30' dome and a wicked Moroccan tent will provide night time chill spaces. As for personal digs, we’ll be camping modularly with no central kitchen, though we will have private camp toilets, two showers, a camp sink, and will provide quiet camp power to central distros and to a limited number of RVs (max of 10 RVs allowed in camp).Music and EntertainmentWe’re planning full-on get downs for Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday with a lower key night on Wednesday and around camp tunes as we see fit. Lineup wise, we’ll be featuring FnF DJs and producers as well as local talent from across the underground SF scene. Check back soon for lineups for each night. We’ll also have a variety of non-musical performances and welcome additional performers in this area. See our team leads page for more info.Art, Lighting and VisualsThe Gearhead, as an emblem of our Psyche, has emerged organically as our touchstone for artistic inspiration. Two major installations are already in progress, most notably JM’s Giant Gearhead, as are sterling silver Gearhead pendants and more. We’d like everyone in camp to contribute a Gearhead of some sort. Installations exploring the idea of Psyche in general are also welcome.We presently have a super talented laser artist and full-spectrum laser, but still need some help with lighting and projected visuals. Artists interested in contributing in these areas, please get ahold of us! |
